The grand pre-release event of Konda Polam was held today in Hyderabad. The entire cast and crew made their presence at the event. Harish Shankar and Uppena fame Buchi Babu Sana were special guests. Each individual unanimously said that the movie would make everyone proud.
Speaking at the function, Harish Shankar addressed the issue of writers and the dying culture of reading books. He congratulated Sannapureddy Venkata Rami Reddy, the writer of Konda Polam novel, for his fabulous work and the success ahead.
Director Krish highlighted the importance of writers, which Harish Shankar previously highlighted. He reminded people of an earlier meeting of TFI directors where it was decided that fresh subjects should come introducing new writers. Konda Polam is the first step in that direction, according to Krish.
Rakul Preet Singh, who couldn’t attend the music launch function, thanked Krish for envisioning her in the ‘Obulamma’ part. It gave me a sense of fulfilment and completeness as an actor, said Rakul Preet Singh.
Vaisshnav Tej said that Konda Polam was a wonderful experience and a learning one for him. Many artists with excellent skills and dedication were part of the movie, which was like teaching to him. He also assured that Konda Polam would make everyone proud.
Konda Polam starring Vaisshnav Tej and Rakul Preet Singh, will hit screens all over on October 8th. Krish directs the movie produced by Y Rajeev Reddy and J Sai Babu. MM Keeravani provides the music.
