Dulquer Salman’s Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal was dubbed into Telugu as Kanulu Kanulanu Dochaayante. The movie was the last Superhit in Telugu before the Corona Crisis began. The movie was plagued with several problems. Initially, the publicity and the release are poor despite positive talk.
While the theaters have increased, the Corona Crisis started creeping in all and the theaters were shut. The makers have even released it in the US but to of no use. The movie did not even recover the expenses related to the USA Release. The film’s Tamil version is out now on Netflix.
Those who did not watch it in theaters may watch it (with subtitles) on Netflix to kill the Lockdown Boredom. If rightly marketed, Kanulu Kanulanu Dochaayante would have the right platform for Dulquer to create some market in both the Telugu States but it is not the case.
The actor made a decent mark on the Telugu audience with Mahanati but failed to cash on it later.
