Kick-2-songs-review-thamanThaman’s debut cine album in Tollywood ‘Kick’ gave him such a solid platform that set him right on the top music director’s list. Frankly, music has been one of the crucial points that helped in the sensational performance of the film at the box-office. Naturally the expectations on ‘Kick 2’ would be high. Let’s have a short journey down the lane of ‘Kick 2’ songs…

When we used a word like classy for Thaman’s song, then it could be only a song like the ‘Temple Song’ which gives a modern feel for a devotional song but keeps the flavour intact. Absolutely alluring tune. And for an out and out commercial number, the title song ‘Kick’ will lure with the vocals of a 9th standard girl with a matured voice.

Of course, ‘Jenda Pai Kapiraju’ might turn everyone’s favourite because of the overall flavour and feel of the song; the rhythm perfectly in sink with the depth of the lyrics. And ‘Masthana masthana’ is completely a variant from all the above songs. It’s snappy but melodious even.

Coming to the duet ‘Nuvve Nuvve’, it’s a romantic number which grows on listeners very slowly but has little traces of Thaman’s earlier tunes. The last one and surely the best entertaining number of the album is ‘Mummy Mummy’. With hilarious lyrics and equally hilarious voice of lyricist Bhole makes this song energetic with proper beats elevating such a song.

Coming to the verdict, among Thaman’s latest renditions, ‘Kick 2’ album turns out to be a good one. Though he had ‘Pandaga Chesko’ album released a few days ago, it wasn’t much talked about. We may feel ‘Kick’ album is better, but ‘Kick 2’ didn’t disappoint the music lovers.
