The teaser of Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja starrer Khiladi is out. It is the biggest budgeted movie in the star’s career, and the video gives a glimpse of it with the visuals. It is additionally also a thriller – making Khiladi a ‘Mass Thriller’.
Right from the word go, the Khiladi teaser manages to create intrigue. It has a larger than life appeal with a suspenseful theme is what the first impression that one gets. The background score by Devi Sri Prasad and the dialogue at the end stand out.
One can also surely make out that Ravi Teja is seen in a dual role. At least that’s the impression one gets given some actions that the star is shown doing in the teaser. It could be a welcome change from the regular mass hero attempts if Ravi Teja picks a negative role.
Director Ramesh Varma has been in the industry for over a decade. He has previously worked with Ravi Teja on Veera. However, he found a new mojo with the Rakshasudu remake. Khiladi looks like a mixture of the same with ‘mass’ angle introduced into it.
Going by some of the leaked pictures, there is more to Khiladi that what is shown. But, whatever we get is acceptable for the time being. One only wishes the official posters were better.
