Here is a piece of good news if you are the fans the Kannada sensation KGF. The keenly awaited sequel to the monstrous hit could hit the screens this year only.
While no one has officially confirmed anything regarding the release date of KGF: Chapter 2, it is a tweet by the director Prashanth Neel that has caught everyone’s attention.
Today (October 3rd) is the birthday of the producer of the movie, Vijay Kiragandur. It is his vision and trust in the vision of Prashanth Neel that made KGF possible in the first place. The director wished the producer stating that this year will be the biggest for them.
The strong confirmation that Prashanth Neel gave is what has made the heads turn. Does this mean that KGF: Chapter 2 will be hitting the screens in the coming months?
It would indeed be a good move and a risky decision from the makers if they go ahead with the plan. Right now, it is all confusion and no one is sure how things will be when theatres reopen again. If things are back to normal it would be fine, but if they aren’t it could be a setback to the keenly awaited multilingual sequel.
KGF: Chapter 2 will see Yash in the cult Rocky role, once again. He faces a bigger threat this time in the form of Adheera played by Sanjay Dutt. Let’s wait for an official confirmation from the makers regarding the release date.
