KGF 2‘s post theatrical digital streaming rights are acquired by Amazon Prime Video. The OTT giant reaped rich dividends with KGF 1 which enjoyed very good patronage from the OTT audience. So, the top OTT platform has managed to keep hold of the second part.
Earlier, it was heard that ZEE5 had acquired the OTT rights, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. Amazon simply wouldn’t have been ready to lose KGF 2 after the super success of KGF 1.
KGF 2 is a powerful action thriller featuring Yash in the central role. The film is helmed by Prashanth Neel. It is getting off to a record breaking start in Kannada and Hindi circuits. It has registered the second highest advance bookings for any Indian film after Baahubali 2 in Hindi, beating RRR. The film is opening on a strong note in the Telugu states as well.
