KGF 2 RRRSouth Indian cinema produced not one but two box office monsters in the last one month or so. First, RRR took the global box office by storm and now, KGF 2 is creating a sensation at the ticket counters. But as it seems, RRR and KGF 2 have casted a negative effect on forthcoming biggies.

The audience were served exhilarating entertainment with RRR and KGF 2 and after seeing these two big event films, the audience are, in a way, exhausted of big screen viewing.

They have consumed enough big screen experience with RRR and KGF 2 and no forthcoming biggie can emulate what RRR and KGF 2 did in terms of hype and anticipation.

Not just the excitement factor, there is a financial aspect as well. The family audience and a sizeable section of the common audience have spent a lot of money on RRR and KGF 2’s tickets. They might not be too eager to spend more on upcoming biggies.

All in all, owing the box office rampage created by RRR and KGF 2 has made forthcoming big ticket films look like small ones. There is no ‘must-watch in theatres’ hype on them now.
