KGF 2 is making big money in Hindi while it is underperforming in U.S. The way it is shattering records gives an idea that the film will easily cross the 300 crore mark in just Hindi soon.
After a few days of its run, the concentration will shift on its OTT release on Amazon Prime. The OTT platform has paid bucks to buy this film and it is clearly their biggest opportunity to make merry.
There is no big film on Prime in the recent past. The only notable release was Radhe Shyam but that film also did not help them much. Prime Video has stopped investing in big films too thanks to some big failures that they received in Hindi and Telugu.
So, Prime video has now pinned hopes on KGF 2 as it can get solid popularity and increase in subscriptions for sure as KGF 2 has become a big hit. How much will it utilize the opportunity needs to be seen.
