Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast and Yash’s KGF 2 are releasing on the 13th and 14th of April respectively. There is a very good buzz for these films India wide (KGF2) and in Tamil (Beast), but the craze and advance bookings in Kerala are on fire.
In an area like Thrissur, there will be four fan shows of KGF 2 being aired at 5 AM and all of them are almost full. This shows the anticipation for the film in Kerala. By looking at the current advance bookings, KGF 2 will cross KGF’s lifetime Kerala gross on just the day one itself.
On the other hand, the advance bookings for Beast are also quite good and the day one numbers are going to create a new record in Kerala. Nelson Dilip Kumar directs Beast and is an action drama.
The trend is quite positive for both these films. As the media has hyped the clash between both these films even more, Beast’s numbers will be a surprise but KGF 2s’ reach and box office will be much bigger.
