Keerthy Suresh DasaraKeerthy Suresh’s career hasn’t been going great guns for the past few years. After delivering a ground-breaking performance in Mahanati, she has been choosing some lousy women-oriented films which are doing no good to her career.

Keerthy also tried to do a typical commercial heroine role in a star hero film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, but that also brought her unnecessary negativity. Now she is coming up with Dasara starring Nani.

This can be assumed as her last chance to make an impact as a mainstream commercial heroine. If the film turns out to be successful and her performance is appreciated, then she will once again have producers knocking on her doors.

And if that doesn’t happen, then Keerthy will find it very hard to sustain herself as a mainstream heroine in commercial Telugu cinema. She might have to revert back to doing small-budget women-oriented movies that might be suitable only on OTT.

Nani recently said that Keerthy’s performance as Vennela in Dasara is going to be magical, especially during the Bathkamma scene in the climax.

Let’s hope Keerthy Suresh is back with a bang with Dasara. The film releases in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada on March 30th.
