RRR is a global sensation now. RRR’s Naatu won the Golden Globe and now, it is in contention for the Oscars. So naturally, some of those who made wild comments on the film in the past are having to bow down now. Here’s one such instance.
Acclaimed sound designer, Resul Pookutty previously called RRR a gay love story. He spoke lowly of the Rajamouli directorial. This resulted in receiving a whole lot of criticism from netizens who called him out for unnecessarily provocative comments on the film.
In fact, even MM Keeravani responded to Resul’s comment in a fitting manner. This became a talking point now.
Cut to now, the very same man, Resul has come up with a lengthy congratulatory message to the RRR unit, and also to Keeravani for making it to the Oscars nominations.
“Huge huge congratulations to @guneetm and@mmkeeravaani for their outstanding achievements in bagging nominations at #AcademyAwards a great moment of pride for Indian cinema… Way to go.” Resul tweeted. Keeravani replied “Thank You Resul garu”. This social media conversation is now going viral in the context of previous alcetration they had when Resul called RRR a gay love story.
Keeravani has now taken sweet revenge as the same Resul who unnecessarily provoked previously, has now shared a congratulatory message to the RRR team.
