Chandra babu naidu wins hero moto corp

The suspense seem to be over now. The first plant of Hero Motocorp is finally coming to Andhra Pradesh. The company’s CEO Pawan Munjal met with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu on Saturday and reportedly revealed the company’s decision to choose the state for setting up their plant. Chandra Babu offered the company better deal in terms of lands and other concessions than the remaining Southern states.

The company will be setting the plant in Chittoor district. The company is expected to submit entire project proposal on Monday directly to the Chief Minister. Buzz from the government sources is that the company had chosen Chittoor as it will be nearer to both Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao and Karnataka Chief Minister Sidda Ramaiah tried their might to take the plant to their states but finally Chandra Babu had the last laugh.

The company will be investing 3000 Crores in this plant which will ensure 1000 direct employment. Hero MotoCorp is the leading two wheeler maker in the country. This is the sixth manufacturing facility for the company across the country and its first plant in the South India. The company wants to setup the unit in South India so as to cater the needs of the region.
