KCR Govt's Assurance To Rajamouli & Co!A few biggies of the Telugu film industry have met Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav ahead of the rumors of the state government bringing back 50% occupancy in the theaters. Dil Raju, Rajamouli, DVV Danayya, and others have gone to the minister. The Minister has clarified that there are no such plans as of now.

“Don’t believe rumors. There are no plans of closing theaters and imposing 50% occupancy in theaters. People can watch movies in theaters following all COVID safety measures. The state is prepared to fight Omicron if the need arises,” the Cinematography Minister said to the media.

He also gave clarity on the ticket prices issue. “We will settle the ticket prices issue once for all after discussing with the Chief Minister,” the minister said. It is known to our readers that a few theater owners have approached the high court and got the necessary permissions for increasing the ticket prices for the upcoming biggies.

If the government officially increases the ticket prices, the issue will be resolved once for all for the industry. The industry biggies also mentioned to the minister about various promises made to the industry during the GHMC elections. They urged to release the necessary G.O.s as soon as possible.
