Rana’s ‘Virata Parvam‘ is going to touch a different subject set in the backdrop of Naxalism. Director of the film, Venu Udugula has an ensemble of star cast with Rana playing the lead role along with Sai Pallavi as the female lead.
Priyamani will be seen playing a Naxalite in the movie. Talking about his choice to take Rana as his main lead, the director revealed that he had Karthi in mind when he first thought about the story. But, he seriously didn’t him.
Venu Udugula needed a regional hero popular in Telugu and Karthi wasn’t popular in Telugu when he first wrote this story. So, he went to Rana who immediately liked the script and gave his nod.
In this movie, he wants to portray reality but keeping the business perspectives also in mind as he understands that the film industry is not only about art but also about business with huge money at stake.
