Coming Valentine’s Day, a new film by actor Karthi will hit the cinemas. The movie is Dev, and it marks the directorial debut of Rajath Ravishankar.
Like every film, Dev too is vital for Karthi, but what makes it further special is a hit hear will complete a hat-trick for him. Yes, in Telugu Kathik’s last few flicks might have failed to register among the audience, but in Tamil, he has two back to back hit movies in the form of Theeraa Adhigaaram Ondru (Khakee in Telugu) and Kadaikutty Singam (Chinababu). The last later being the career biggest hit for the actor.
After two such game-changing films, Dev is the third one in the line. A success here will take him a level higher as a star where he was positioned previously at the start of his career before a free fall of sorts happened.
