Kangana Ranaut Shoots 16 Hours In Rain Despite FeverActing is a daunting task and is not as easy as it looks on the screen, most of the time. Actors have to go through a lot of hardships and hard work to get a shot right, most of the time. This is exactly what happened to Kangana Ranaut while shooting for her upcoming film Thalaivi.

Thalaivi is the biopic of actress turned politician Jayalalithaa, the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Thalaivi explores the life of Jayalalithaa from her time in films to her time in Tamil Nadu politics. As part of Jayalalithaa’s acting career, Kangana had to shoot for a rain song, which was popular in the 60s and 70s.

Kangana is said to have shot in the rain for 16 hours continuously, even though she was suffering from fever. This is the Ilaa Ilaa song that was released recently. In this song, we see Kangana dancing in the rain, and in the typical 60s and 70s fashion, in a white saree, which was all the rage at the time.

Thalaivi is releasing in all South Indian Indian languages, and in Hindi as well. Thalaivi has been scheduled to release on 23rd April all over India, but it has to be seen if the film will be postponed as theatres in several North Indian states have been shutdown due to the second wave of Coronavirus.
