The trailer of ‘Manikarnika‘ has been receiving good response from the audiences making them look forward to the biopic on Jhansi Lakshmi Bai scheduled for Republic Day 2019 release. The trailer launch event was a special one and Rajamouli’s father, Vijayendra Prasad got his due respect as the writer of the story.
Heroine Kangana Ranaut was seen falling on his feet and taking his blessings at the event. She spoke highly about Vijayendra Prasad and said that he was totally perfect right from the beginning. It was his script that she embraced, everything was on paper and she directed and acted as per the script. Vijayendra Prasad shared his experience of his first meeting with the heroine.
When he was narrating the story, Kangana was like a child who clapped and laughed when there were exciting moments in the story. She was overwhelmed after listening to the narration and looked totally excited to do the movie. It’s a known thing that Krish has to leave the movie for Balakrishna’s ‘NTR’ as it was his prior commitment and thus, Kangana Ranaut took over the mantle and completed the remaining shoot and also re-shot some sequences.
However, Krish was credited as the director along with Kangana Ranaut. Did Krish miss the chance of getting the entire credit as the director of the movie? One can see the trailer working in the movie’s favour and increased the expectations on the biopic.
