Be it in homeland or overseas, Varun Tej’s Kanche came to theatres without much expectations on its box-office collections. Surprisingly it’s doing well in both domestic market snd also in overseas. Its 4 day collections in overseas is $319,937 (Rs.2.08 Cr).
Though the overseas figures seem to be no where near the top films in US, for a movie like Kanche, this is a good success as the figure us very close to break even for US buyers. That’s a good sign for expansion of market of good films sans star power.
Kanche, which seemed a class movie has turned dilent hit giving big hope that Tollywood had the calibre to churn out good movies. Baahubali set the momentum, Mahesh, Nani and Varun’s movies are following suit.
