One actor we all Indians feel proud to mention as the universal star is definitely Kamal Haasan and we also have another star hero closely following Kamal’s footsteps in terms of perfection in performance skills and that person needs no mention as we know that he is none other than Mr.Perfectionist Aamir Khan.
Kamal and Aamir stand in first and second places respectively in the list whose movies had been sent for Oscars entries. Any cine-lover would proudly say that Kamal Haasan has the maximum number of entries sent from India for Oscar nominations. Eight of Kamal’s movies including Telugu Film ‘Swathi Muthyam’ were sent for Academy Awards nominations.
Coming to Aamir Khan, four films were sent for Oscar entries. ‘Earth’, ‘Lagaan’, ‘ Rang de Basanthi’, and Taare Zameen Par’ were Indian entries to Oscars. Though Kamal Haasan has the highest number of sent entries list to his credit, but it is Aamir Khan who ruled the roost at Academy Awards with one of his films ‘Lagaan’ actually getting nominated. Though Oscar can’t actually evaluate these heroes’ talents, Indians would really love to make its debut in the best foreign film category in Oscars, don’t we?
