Kamal to co-write 'Drishyam' remake
It has been officially confirmed that Kamal Haasan will star in the Tamil remake of recent Malayalam hit “Drishyam”. The latest development in it is that Kamal will make some changes to the remake, which will be directed by Jeethu Joseph who helmed the original. Kamal along with Joseph will co-write the film again to suit the sensibilities of the Tamil audience.

The film will go on floors in the second half of 2014, and most likely Meena, who played an important role in the original, will essay the same role once again. According to the director, when he had met Kamal, the latter suggested that they sit and make some changes to the story for Tamil remake. The director also humbly accepted the request made by the legendary actor, who recently received the Padma Bhushan award.

The film will also be remade in Telugu and Hindi. While Venkatesh is likely to feature in the Telugu remake, name like Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn are being considered for the Hindi version.
