Yesteryear audiences know the first ever love saga of Universal Star Kamal Haasan with yesteryear actress Srividya who was known for performance-oriented roles. The actress passed away in 2006 and her apartment was taken over by the IT department for her unpaid dues.
After a gap of almost 11 years, the IT department is going to auction Srividya’s apartment in Abhiramapuram in Chennai. It is learnt that her bank liabilities and tax liabilities will be settled and then the rest of the amount will go to charity, namely to Gandhi Bhavan for destitute and Sneha Bhavan for the mentally unstable.
Srividya was a popular face across the film industries in South and she was said to be Kamal’s first love. The duo never accepted their relationship but Kamal visited her when she was breathing her last, suffering from spine cancer when she was only 53. Since then, IT department took over her assets and had rented her apartment to an advocate.
