Kamal Haasan is a veteran of the film industry. Considering that, there are many people who he has a lot of respect for one. One of such people is Maestro Ilayaraja and Haasan proved the immense respect he has for the man very recently.
It just so happened that when recording a song for one of his upcoming films ‘Happi’, Ilayaraja was dissatisfied with the assigned singer. So he asked his manager to request Kamal to step in immediately. Kamal fulfilled the request without any delay and soon hurried to the studio in order to complete the task asked by the composer.
Haasan explained the event saying that when people like Sivaji Ganesan, Ilayaraja and K Balachander ask him for something, he will ‘run’ and do it for them.
