Be it the teaser or the theatrical trailer, one can clearly see that Kalyani is given clear leverage against Kajal Agarwal in Sharwanand’s upcoming movie ‘Ranarangam‘. Why is Kalyani Priyadarshan getting more attention than Kajal Aggarwal though the latter happens to be a star heroine?
In an interview, the director of the movie, Sudheer Varma clarifies that while Kalyani plays a crucial part in the movie, Kajal Aggarwal has a small part and he doesn’t want to misguide the audiences focuses more n Kajal as they would come to the theatres with certain expectations on her character.
Even Kajal Aggarwal said the same in another interview that her role was very small and she doesn’t want to take away the limelight that doesn’t belong to her. Kajal knew beforehand that her character has lesser screen space comparatively.
This is a good thing that the director wants to show what’s there in the film instead of misleading the moviegoers, and one of the heroines who featured in the movie is okay with it.
