The famous actor Ilayathalapathy Vijay is currently involved in the wrapping up of Thalaivaa shoot after which he will join the shooting of his new film Jilla under Nesan’s direction. The -Malayalam bilingual has Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal playing an important role. But the news that has the industry abuzz is that Nisha Agarwal, who is the sister of young and successful actress Kajal Agarwal has joined the Jilla team and has been roped in as Mahat Raghavendra’s pair.
However, Nisha herself has refuted all such rumours on her microblogging account on Twitter and posted “My lovely tweeples.. I’m not a part of #Jilla I haven’t even been approached for the film! I have no clue how this rumour started!”
As for the film itself, it is being produced by R B Chowdary under his Super Good Films banner, while Mahat is playing the role of Vijay’s younger brother. The film is expecting a 2014 Pongal release.
