Actress Kajal Aggarwal is all over the media courtesy of her promotional activity for the upcoming film Mosagallu. It is during an interview that she dropped a bomb regarding Indian 2.
Kajal, during a media interaction, said that Indian 2 starring Kamal Hasan is ‘unfortunately stalled’. It means the Shankar directorial is stopped mid-way. Remember, post an unfortunate accident on the set taking three people’s lives; the shooting never resumed. It happened in February 2020, and then the pandemic took over.
A year has passed since then, and there is no buzz what so ever on the shoot’s resumption. It was the case until RC15 (Ram Charan and Shankar combination) got announced. We then heard that Indian 2 could be resumed post the completion of the Tamil Nadu elections.
However, the latest revelation from Kajal Aggarwal further puts the future prospects in jeopardy. The fact that Indian 2 requires a lot of technicians from the US further complicates the matter. The US’s current corona crisis doesn’t make it easy for the shoot to resume any time soon. It will take a lot of time to get things back like they were before the pandemic.
It won’t, therefore, be a surprise if RC15 is the next film coming from Shankar unless he decides to wrap up Indian 2 quickly somehow.
