Kajal Aggarwal is considered to be one of the biggest star heroines in the south in the last decade. She acted with almost every top hero in all the industries. She took a break from the industry because of her marriage and pregnancy. Now she begins her second innings and her first film post-hiatus is the Tamil horror comedy Ghosty.
But the film turned out to be a huge disaster. The film neither impressed the critics nor the audience. People who have seen the film have called it tasteless, insufferable, and irrelevant. The box office collections are also dismal and the film will find it difficult to even recover release expenses. The film’s dubbed Telugu version is releasing next week.
Kajal’s second innings has started on a bad note. Her last film from her first innings, Acharya, also proved to be a wrong step in her career as her role was completely chopped off from the film. Before Acharya also, Kajal delivered duds like Hey Sinamika and Mumbai Saga.
Kajal has a promising lineup of films that includes Shankar’s Indian 2 and Balakrishna’s film in the direction of Anil Ravipudi. Let’s hope her second innings turns out to be as glorious as the first one.
