It is known to our readers that Sekhar Kammula is going to remake Bollywood super hit movie, Kahaani in to Telugu. Nayantara will be reprising the role of Vidya Balan from the original. The preproduction of the movie is nearing completion and Sekhar is planning to begin the shooting of the movie in April. The Telugu version of the movie will retain the thrills and essence of the original but will have the changes to suit the nativity of Telugu people. Yendamuri Veerendernath is working on the script adaptation.
The movie will be produced simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. This is for the first time in his career that Sekhar would be remaking a film. More details on this project are awaited.
