rajinikanth-kabali-junior-artists-arrest-theft-shah-alam-malaysiaTwo of the Malaysian junior artists aka extras who had acted in superstar Rajinikanth’s last release ‘Kabali‘ were arrested in Shah Alam, the capital city of Selangore State, Malaysia. They were arrested with the charges of theft of valuable ornaments.

These two are bulglars who have the habit of breaking into empty homes, steal jewellery and sell them. They were nabbed by police and a detailed investigation gave the police lead to identify the shops to which they sold the jewellery. Besides stealing, these two are said to be into show business as extras.

Most of the parts of Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ were shot in Malaysia and hence the makers roped in local junior artists for the film as it would have been difficult and very expensive to bring even junior artists and extras from India. Moreover, Rajinikanth’s craze in Malaysia made the makers to go for Malay version of the movie and hence the presence of local artists was an appealing factor.
