Rajinikanth’s Kaala was one of the most awaited but people couldn’t even see when it came and gone. The film bombed at the theaters and now is going to be published on Amazon Prime soon. Looks like the makers do not want to waste any more time waiting at theaters. Actually, this has become a trend these days to sell the digital rights of the films as early as possible.

Filmmakers are not giving the films much time to run in theaters irrespective of the crowd. Well, thanks to piracy. The piracy anyway steals the audience from theaters and hence the makers are utilizing the digital space as much as they can without wasting an ounce of the film.
