In fact this is a honour for Telugu cinema itself. Legendary director Vishwanath is one of the 20 people who have been selected by the Limca Book of Records for the ‘Person of the Year 2013′ list to celebrate 100 Years of Indian Cinema. Vishwanath garu is the only representation from Telugu cinema industry. Mani Ratnam, Kamal Haasan, Santosh Sivan, Prabhu Deva, Sreekar Prasad and Naseeruddin Shah are other prominent people in the list. In addition, people like Tabu, Vidya Balan, Shabana Azmi, Kajol and Ranbir Kapoor were also listed in the same category.
Vishwanath garu had wielded megaphone some of the classic movies like Shankarabharanam, Swati Muthyam, Sagara Sangamam and Aaptathbandhavudu which are considered as Epics in Telugu cinema history.
