'K' Sentiment Turns Luck For Industry This YearThe film industry has seen some unprecedented blockbusters this year from the most unexpected quarters. And coincidentally the titles of these films were starting with K.

Kashmir Files: Who would have thought a documentary-like film starring no big names made on a budget of 25 crores will go on to collect more than 250 crores at the box office? The film’s hard-hitting content struck a chord with the majority of the audience and the film ran to packed houses for many weeks.

Karthikeya 2: No one expected a Tollywood film that opened at 7 lakhs on its first day in the Hindi belt would go on to collect 30 crores. The Lord Krishna angle worked out very well with the devotional audience and they flocked to theaters in hordes. The film grossed more than 100 crores worldwide.

Kantara: It was unimaginable that a raw and rustic Kannada film about a Bhoota Kola made on a budget of 20 crores would wreak havoc at the box office. Rishab Shetty’s unmatchable performance, gripping screenplay, and undercurrent of devotion made this film a must-watch on the big screen. Not just in India, but overseas as well the film has done phenomenally grossing more than 300 crores.

Another coincidence is that all films catered to the emotions and sentiments of the Hindu audience.
