Jr NTR showcased his acting prowess with RRR. But a malicious campaign that was set in motion after RRR’s release tarnished his image-building to an extent. The common opinion is that he didn’t receive the due credit he should’ve gotten for the film. The fact that RRR is a multi-starrer featuring NTR and Ram Charan is one of the reasons behind the development.
Coming to the point, there are reports that Prashanth Neel, who is directing NTR31 is planning to bring Kamal Haasan on board for the antagonist role in the film.
But if that really is the case, there is a problem. NTR already had to face a tough situation following multi-starrer, RRR’s release, given the spiteful campaign. If he agrees to do another multi-starrer with Kamal Haasan with NTR31, it would be giving an opportunity for the opposite camp to spit venom.
Kamal Haasan is a veteran senior actor and not a contemporary to NTR, but that won’t stop a section from depriving NTR of the due credit if the project actually materializes and goes on to become a hit.
NTR’s fans are already vexed with him doing a multi-starrer – RRR. They don’t want him to do another multi-starrer at any cost. But if he still goes ahead with the multi-starrer idea, it would mean that he is committing the same mistake twice, an observer commented.
