The much-awaited SS Rajamouli’s RRR hit the screens last week and is on to become a huge blockbuster by breaking records left, right, and center. The fans of NTR and Charan both heaved a sigh of relief that the film finally got released and also became a huge success.
After the humongous success of Baahubali and RRR, any actor and his fans would be on cloud nine if they got to work with SS Rajamouli. But that is not the case with NTR fans.
According to an interview given by Rajamouli’s father, K Vijayendra Prasad (writer of RRR), NTR recently visited Rajamouli’s house, and during the discussion, Tarak proposed to make a sequel to RRR to explore the characters of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seeta Rama Raju in a different angle. This has created a panic among NTR fans.
NTR’s last movie Aravinda Samettha released in 2018, and his next film with Koratala Siva would release in 2023. That means RRR wasted five precious years of NTR’s career, which the fans feel isn’t worth it. NTR could have done at least 4-5 films in this span which would have been better than doing one movie like RRR. There’s also a disappointment among some Tarak fans that he got a raw deal in the climax of the film, and Charan’s role turned out to be better.
So NTR fans are praying that he doesn’t waste another five years of his prime by committing to RRR 2 or any other SS Rajamouli project.
