NTR Responds on Long Time BlameFor a long time, NTR carried blame that he runs after successful directors and it is the combinations that worked big time rather than the content. Oosaravelli (after Kick), Dhammu (after Simha), Baadshah (after Dookudu), Ramayya Vasthavayya (after Gabbar Singh) are just a few examples.

The films mentioned above led the fans and the star Jr NTR to face the heat from all quarters. Barring one, Baadshah –which was a moderate success, the rest were duds. It wasn’t any different even if we go a little back too. It all changed post-Rabhasa which was also a film on similar lines.

Tarak started to believe more in the content rather than the form of the director. It made the star deliver his most memorable film in this decade Temper with Puri Jagannadh with whom he has given one of the biggest duds in his career Andhrawala. The trend continued with Nannaku Prematho (after 1 Nenokkadine), and Jai Lava Kusa (after Sardar Gabbar Singh) and now, Aravindha Sametha (after Agnyaathavaasi).

Responding to the blame laid on him previously, NTR opines that these things are a waste of time and take us nowhere. Analysing such things leads to nothing creative, and instead, one can focus on working towards delivering good content. “How would a super hit director feel to work with me when I’m in flops?” countered NTR. Sometimes, some movies work, and some don’t. At the end of the day, focus on doing good films, says NTR who is coming with Trivikram after the director delivered a disaster. Now, that’s the sign of a confident man, isn’t it?
