Every time someone asked a question about whom RGV approached to collect information about the real-life characters for ‘Lakshmi’s NTR‘, the director maintained that he collected information from trusted sources who weren’t in the limelight. Did he ever approach Jr NTR to collect information on the story?
RGV says, he never approached Jr NTR as the Nandamuri hero was very young to know and be aware of the scheme going on in the family Moreover, his film has got no role for his real-life portrayal of Jr. NTR. There was a time when NTR was doing ‘Temper’ with Puri and RGV seemed to be moving close with Jr NTR and hence, there could have been a possibility for RGV to approach him for any details. It’s now a known thing that he portrayed Hari Krishna, Balakrishna and Purandeshwari in a bad light as if they are the worst persons born on this planet.
Of course, Chandrababu Naidu is shown in a very poor light. However, one must agree that RGV did full justice to the producers as the film was produced by a YSRCP leader for elections. The purpose was served. Every inch of the film only reflected the main motive.
