South Indian actors, especially Telugu cinema actors have always been ignored or mostly given an unfair treatment by the Bollwyood media and its stars for a long time but that looks to be a thing of past now. The upcoming generation in Hindi cinema seems to be more aware of the actors and also the remake trend has meant that they keep a close eye on the latest happenings and movies of South Indian heroes as well.
Long back an upcoming Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan surprised everyone when he said that he is a huge fan of Jr NTR in Telugu, today his co-star and latest youth sensation, Alia Bhatt too had said something similar. The actress who was seen in Highway and 2 States earlier in the year said that Jr NTR is a good friend and if she ever gets a chance to work in Telugu films it would be opposite him only. Also when asked about director she said that she would love to work with Puri Jagannadh.
