SS Rajamouli’s RRR – starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead has been receiving immense love and praise from critics and fans all over the world. It became the most talked about film for the Oscars next year, despite being snubbed as India’s official entry to the Academy.
The makers of this epic period drama are leaving no stone unturned to take it to the Oscars and have begun pushing the film by joining the ‘For your consideration’ (FYC) campaign and sending out a whopping 14 nominations to the Oscars in various categories, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Original Song.
There are also reports that if the film gets nominated in any of the categories, there is a good chance that NTR and Ram Charan would perform live on the song ‘Naatu Naatu’ at the Academy Awards Stage.
There are healthy chances of RRR getting nominated and if that happens then witnessing both the powerhouse performers on the Oscars stage would be such a delight for the audience. It would be a proud moment for our cinema and our country.
The TRP ratings would shoot up like never before because every Indian would be glued to watch the spectacle of dancing NTR and Ram Charan at the Oscars on their TV sets.
