On the late-night of March 11th, the movie has crossed the $200K mark with many locations yet to report. That makes Jathiratnalu the second $200K film after the pandemic. Uppena, the biggest hit of 2021 has collected around $223K,
The movie is likely to breach the half a million-dollar mark by this Saturday or Sunday. That will make the film the first Indian movie to breach the $500K mark after the pandemic. The Tamil film, Master is the highest grosser so far with $440K.
Remember we are talking about this feat with a second film hero and film made on a very modest budget. Even as the domestic markets have recovered, the market in the United States is still struggling to due the pandemic. This feat of Jathiratnalu will infuse confidence into the biggest that are lined up for Summer release.
