Jai Balayya Mass Anthem: Outdated VibeThe much-hyped first song from Nandamuri Balakrishna‘s Veera Simha Reddy – Jai Balayya is out now. The makers have been promoting it as a mass anthem.

Right from the outset, Jai Balayya has a folk touch. The Balayya bit is good, but the entire song has a dated vibe. We get the impression that we’re hearing a song from the 90s. It has an overwhelming “Osei Ramulamma” vibe.

While the song might cater to senior fans and C and D centers, it remains to be seen how it will be received by the modern audience and the youth. The Jai Balayya song in Akhanda was a rage, but it needs to be said that this song with the same title doesn’t weigh as much.

Balakrishna sports an all-white attire and looks wise, he looks sharp and his fans should be pleased. Thaman also makes an energetic appearance in the lyrical video.

Veera Simha Reddy is a mass commercial potboiler and it is sure to set the ticket counters in mass centers on fire next Sankranthi. The film relies entirely on Balakrishna’s mass aura.
