Jagapathi Babu seems to have hit a purple patch as far as getting the big projects is concerned. The actor, who was down and out just a year ago, is now in talks to star in some of the highly anticipated films playing important characters in it. A year ago Jagapathi Babu broke his lead role stance in Telugu cinema and agreed to play the antagonist in Balakrishna’s Legend. This move and the powerful presentation of the actor in the film, has changed his whole future course an actor.
Jagapathi Babu has been recently roped in to play a powerful role in Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film in Koratala Siva direction. Now if the latest news doing the rounds is to be believed he seems to have got the offer of a lifetime to act in a Rajinikanth film. Jagapathi Babu will reportedly play a very important character in the upcoming film of Rajinikanth Lingaa. Incidentally it was Tamil film industry which first gave him a chance to explore his negative side through Thaandavam, a film starring Vikram in lead. That film did not work in the way he expected to but it gave way to Legend in Telugu and the rest as they say is history.
