Jagapathi Babu and Rajamouli are soon turning relatives as Rajamouli’s son Karthikeya is going to tie the knot with Jagapathi Babu brother’s daughter Pooja Prasad. So, Jagapathi Babu will be family for Rajamouli and will the director make space for Jagapathi Babu in his upcoming film ‘RRR’ and give him a role?
Responding to this question in a recent interview, Jagapathi Babu said that the thought itself is not correct and if Rajamouli does anything like that, he will lose respect for the director. But, he is okay if the director gives an offer only because Jagapathi Babu suits the character and not merely because he is a relative. Well said. The senior actor further explains that it isn’t correct to expect something from big directors and only do a film with them when they want him to play a character.
Well, that settles the matter. Anyway, a director like Rajamouli will not decide the actors because of his proximity to them rather only when a role demands a certain actor. Hope, Rajamouli will chance upon something interesting for Jagapathi in one of his future projects that will turn out to be memorable for the actor and also for the Telugu audiences.
