Couple of days ago, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy announced Vishakapatnam as the Capital of Andhra Pradesh and shifting to the Port City. Since then, hell broke loose.
There are reports that the CBI team investigating YS Vivekananda Reddy’s case is looking into some alleged phone calls between Avinash Reddy and the CMO.
And then, there is a revolt from the party MLAs in Nellore district which is a YSR Congress’s stronghold. Sitting MLAs leaving the party with one and a half years of term remaining is no simple thing.
That too when someone like Jagan who won 151 seats and known for Vendetta Politics is facing this, it is a sign of impending warning.
A section of YSR Congress is worried that the muhurtham set for the announcement is wrong. Some worry if Jagan will lose his ‘Sthanabalam’ if he shifts from Tadepalli to Vishakapatnam.
Jagan shifted to his new house in Tadepalli just before 2019 elections and the rest is history. He made the same house as the CM camp office avoiding the Secretariat. So the Sthanabalam of Tadepalli worked for Jagan and the cadre is worried about shifting to Vishakapatnam.
