Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy hurriedly took up a fast unto death with Special Status demand. The party leaders all through out the Deeksha looked like very desperate for the government to intervene and disrupt the Deeksha. Jagan once in hospital did not refuse the treatment and very quickly ended the fast.
Very soon after the discharge, he immediately flew to Hyderabad to his Lotus Pond Palace revealing his real seriousness about the cause. Since the day he went to Lotus Pond, he became totally inaccessible to the party cadre and the people. Jagan interacted with media on important issues like skipping Foundation event and Modi’s no help to the state only through letters.
The Opposition leader seem to be steering the agitation in a vital issue through open letters released to his own Sakshi media. That seems to be the commitment of Special Status issue. Ruling part leaders commented since Jagan having to attend court every Friday in connection to his numerous corruption cases he is confined to Hyderabad.
