Acharya’s failure has affected many. The film’s collections have fallen like a pack of cards and the day two and three figures are disturbing. As the ticket prices were hiked again, the audience are not interested to watch the film on the big screen with such a flop talk.
In all this, fans of Jagan are taking advantage of this situation and say that YS Jagan made the right move when he slashed the ticket prices. But the industry folks cried foul and asked for a hike in the prices of tickets. As a result of it, the common man and also the distributors are suffering big time now.
But the fact of the matter is that this is a weird argument as the ticket price hike is a welcome change and will help the industry. The only thing to notice here is that the hike in prices should not be high like those in Telangana and also not too low like in AP.
The prices should be somewhere in between and that is where everyone involved will be happy. But each state of its own, they have its own set of rules and are doing what they feel like. Only time will tell when these ticket hikes laws will be used properly.
