lingaa court case‘Lingaa’, one of the most awaited movie to be released before 2014 comes to an end seems to be attracting controversies in the name of court cases for plagiarism. Only recently Madras High Court dismissed a case of plagiarism on the makers of superstar Rajnikanth’s movie. And the verdict came as a sigh of relief for the superstar’s fans because the film is set for December 12th release.

One more plagiarism case was filed on ‘Lingaa’ by one Sakthivel claiming that this story line is the one he has written for his film ‘Uyir Ani’. His story revolves around the British engineer Pennyquick who is the driving force behind Mullaiperiyar. Since the storyline of ‘Lingaa’ too has the same storyline he has written, Sakthivel alleges plagiarism on the makers.

Additional city civil court issued notices to the producer of the film Rockline Venkatesh, director KS Ravi Kumar and writer Ponkumar. The next hearing would be on December 9th, just three days before the release of the film. Fans of the superstar are hoping big way that even this case would be dismissed like the earlier one and pose no threat for the historical birthday release for the superstar in his career.
