Rajinikanth’s new film is a grand animated period movie called Kochadaiiyan. It is certainly quite different from his usual films. As such K. S. Ravikumar has taken the precaution to prepare the fans’ mindset before they step in to the theatre.
The director who worked as the dialogue writer for the film says that the whole movie watching experience will only be enjoyable if the movie is taken in the way that it is meant to be, that is, as an animated film. He says that the audience need to let go of their expectations of this being a usual Rajini movie because it is different from those. Rajinikanth is present in the film but only in a larger than life animated form.
The director also said that the movie would be most enjoyable when watched with kids who are likely to make the most out of the animated feature.
