While Maruthi has already confirmed his film Kotha Janta to be a May Day release, he will now have to face competition from another film. The film to compete with director Maruthi’s film will be Sekhar Kammula’s Anamika. This long postponed film is finally looking to hit the theaters on May Day as it could then cash in on holiday.
Sekhar Kammula is a brand in his own way and any movie directed by him is always looked forward to be his loyal audience in A Centers. However Anamika starring Nayanatara has been low on buzz due to long time taken in production and also the fact the film is a remake of a thriller that is well known all over has robbed off the sheen from this film for sure. How will the competition fare between the two we have to wait and see.
