It was Pawan Kalyan's Idea and It Became A RageMusic composer Mani Sharma has been in the headlines of late ever since he came on board for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film, Acharya. And the lyrical video Laahe Laahe has been on YouTube trends list.

While Mani Sharma has given numerous chartbusters to music lovers, the film Kushi songs would always remain evergreen for the audience till date. The film recently completed 20-years and Mani Sharma opened up about a few interesting things in an interview.

Mani Sharma spoked about ‘Ye Mera Jaha’ song which has Hindi lyrics, quite unusual for the Telugu films. Throwing more light on it, he says, “The song was Pawan Kalyan’s idea. In fact, he suggested to come up with Hindi lyrics having a peppy upbeat number which could get connected with the youth instantly. And obviously once the song released, it was a rage. All credit goes to Pawan Kalyan”.

Mani Sharma then talks about ‘Premante’ song, and how this is his favorite one in the film. “It starts with a different tempo and a lot of variations are there and ends with different note,” he says. He then spoke about remixing the iconic song ‘Aaduvari Matalaku’. “ I was doubtful because I have never done remixes. I composed the song in 20-minutes and made the tempo faster than the original”.
