“Undipo” is the fourth single from Ismart Shankar that is out now. One listen, and it is sure to hook the listeners and make them press the repeat button. The simple yet catchy lyrics and a qawwali-esq melody with a classic touch given by Mani Sharma is one for ages and not for immediate success. However, it seems to be heavily inspired, though.
The album of Ismart Shankar is already a massive success with the first three numbers being hits. ‘Dimaak Kharaab’ is the biggest one of the lot. The combination of Mani Sharma and Puri Jagannadh has always delivered chartbuster albums, and Ismart Shankar is no exception.
The buzz on Ismart Shankar is excellent, and the Ram starrer is looking at scoring big in openings at the box office. The makers too, have been smart in delaying the release by a week to avoid the peak World Cup phase. Its new release date is July 19th. Puri Jagannadh has failed in exciting the box office recently. We have to see if Ismart Shankar brings him back or not.
