Ram Charan and NTR scored a massive hit with RRR. The film has crossed the 210 crore+ nett from Hindi version. But it looks like their film and stardom are going to be tested in Hindi by Yash and his upcoming biggie KGF2.
The film is up for a release on the 14th of this month and the buzz has picked up throughout the country. Also, going by by the show’s allotment, screen size, ticket pricing and demand in various cities as well as mass belts across the country, KGF 2 film will take a massive opening in Hindi.
As per early estimates, trade experts say that the film will make close to 40 crores net on day one in Hindi alone. Well, this takes us to the question of whether Yash is bigger than NTR and Charan?.
RRR did not have the first part advantage and clicked with the positive word of mouth in Hindi. But that is not the case with KGF 2. One of the main reasons for KGF 2’s craze is it being a sequel and presence of Yash.
The audience loved the first part and wants to see what Yash and his team have in store for the audience this time around. As Sanjay Dutt plays the baddie after a long time, it is also helping the film in Bollywood.
The advance bookings have opened in various areas and the trade pundits will be closely monitoring the collections as the film post the release and KGF 2 will be compared with RRR.
Though it is a tough task to beat RRR, the film might open on a better note than RRR in Hindi going by the craze of the film. Prashanth Neel has directed this film produced by Hombale Films.
